Very enjoyable! We recommend this...

Liked: Excellent location right opposite Centraal Station! Hotel is packed with railway memorabilia - a must for all train enthusiasts. Very much appreciated the 24hr free hot drinks machine with good coffee and hot chocolate.
Disliked: Reading lights on bedhead were rather dim

A train themed delight.

Liked: Location is prime. The people are great, helpful, friendly. The breakfast is basic but with enough choice to vary your daily meal. We have stayed here many times and keep coming back for these reasons.
Disliked: Needed a bedside electric outlet but there wasn’t one. Had to buy an extension cord to accommodate my needs. Bathroom a bit cramped but a good shower.

Liked: EVERYTHING, Clean, comfy, friendly staff, great location, breakfast was simple but fresh, heating was great, rooms had all you needed

Great train themed hotel. Loved...

Liked: The management and staff were so kind and friendly, the hotel has a very homely atmosphere. Of course I loved the train themed decor..
Disliked: The only thing that worried me was that as it is an old building, the floors are not completely level. I would like to suggest that these little steps could be painted yellow to make them more visible as they can be tripping hazards.

Splendid stay in A-Train

Liked: Breakfast, interesting layout of train concept at the ground floor, friendly and helpful staff, very near to Amsterdam Central station, safe location. Family room has 2 washing basins.
Disliked: Few steps at entrance of room door to bed - must carry the luggage up.There should be a curtain or space for installing a glass door to block the shower water from splashing onto the sink basin area, floor and toilet seat.
