Nice venue, but some small...

Liked: Our room was quiet and comfortable and nicely decorated. The food in the restaurant was good at both evening and breakfast meals. 315 has a nice ambience both in the public rooms and the bedrooms.
Disliked: The shower (Room 4) needs to be improved. Water was not coming out of the shower head evenly as some of the holes were bunged up with limescale I suspect. In addition the shower head was pointed at the wall and I couldn't move it so I couldn't stand under the actual water. The TV in the room is very small. In the restaurant, it would be better if salt and pepper were available on the table. We had to ask for every condiment at the morning and evening meals. In the evening, the salt, pepper and vinegar took too long to arrive. The staff didn't look very happy in their work and it was a challenge finding someone to check in and out.

Family Gathering

Liked: Food was excellent. Lovely dining area and barTowels changed daily.
Disliked: No one on reception, had to go looking for staff to book in and order a drink at the bar.No Bell available to call staff.Room tired and bathroom was mouldy in shower and rusty fixtures around mirror and light not upto 5star standard.Handbasin not cleaned and carpet not hoovered after our 2nd night stay which was very disappointing .Breakfast hours 7-9 too restrictive especially when your on a leisure break.We had to be up before 8.30am .Exceptionaly difficult to exit carpark as there is a hedge obscuring vision that makes it dangerous to pull out as it is a very busy road.

Lovely staff-ie Sam, rooms small,...

Liked: Sam the restaurant and bar manager was exceptional, he was welcoming and accommodating, we had to leave early on Saturday so he arranged a bacon sandwich for us and as I was travelling to Paris this was really helpful. Breakfast was fantastic, well presented and very tasty and served with a smile by Sam! Cannot praise him enough!
Disliked: The place is in need of refurbishment, very Spartan furnishings. Our evening meal wasn’t great, I had the open pie which was very dry, large portions. The chef came out into the bar several times but didn’t speak to any customer, which I found a bit rude.
