Liked: Location - Great location in the heart of downtown. Just a few minutes walk from English bay and Stanley park. 20 minutes walk or 10 Minutes cycle to Gas town,Yale town and Granville Island. Staff - friendly, efficient and nothing was too much trouble. Had pre-arranged a bottle of wine in the room for my husband along with a high floor room and everything was prepared straight away. Room - Stunning room with views out over the bay and the nearby mountains. Clean and comfortable. The room was extremely quiet and the bed was so comfortable that I probably slept more on this trip than I have in a long time. The filtered water station (still and sparkling) on each floor was a great touch. Hotel - The artwork around the hotel and the different themes on each floor is a great touch. Each night (17:00-18:00) a free glass of wine is given in the lobby, an extra that really does bring a smile to your face. I also like the fact that they used a local wine to showcase their region.

Very comfortable and comforting.

Liked: The filtered water was great! I liked all the art, and artist bios. I liked the attention to details, like having a black make-up removal washcloth - which makes so much sense! The towels were nice and fluffy, too. The French press coffee was excellent.
Disliked: I thought it was weird that in a hotel with so much focus on the environment that there was no option to say we don't need clean sheets every day. Or clean towels either.
