The Alpine Inn & Suites

My fiance and I spent three weeks traveling up the coast of California. In order to help pay for our adventure we decided to forgo some of the known name hotels and hopefully find some decent independent hotels. While checking in we let the front desk know that we were there to explore San Francisco for a few days. The helpful gentleman at the front desk then proceeded to explain to us how to use their public transit and even offered to print out instructions and maps for us. When we got to our room we were pleasantly surprised on how modern and updated the room was. I cannot express how grateful I was that it had a very comfortable bed. All and all this hotel exceeded expectation and made our trip to SF memorable.

I used to live in San Francisco and know first hand how much you pay for hotels for crap and dirty quality. I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel. Smelled clean and really was clean! I am 21 years old and I can tell you as many times as I have stayed in the SF area, I have never seen a better hotel in my whole Life living there. I moved about 3 months ago and still go back frequently to visit the family that lives there. One thing that is really neat about this Hotel is the separate bedroom off the the side of the main bed room. It really creates privacy when traveling with others. The hotel staff was very friendly. They made the stay very pleasant!

This is a great hotel for a visitor to San Francisco who has a rental car or doesn't mind taking a cab to the city. The hotl exceeded my expectations. The room was large and clean. The hotel was quiet at night. The staff was very friendly. They offered us a free room upgrade on check-in. The only drawback was that the towels in the room were scratchy and mismatched. Quite a pleasantly surprising experience for the price! I would definitely stay here again.
