Liked: The door staff were fantastic, so friendly and helpful….really really excellent.The diner was also great
Disliked: We didn’t have hot water two days running which was really annoying as it delayed our plans for the day. For the price we paid for the room, this was majorly inconvenient

Liked: The bed was VERY confortable and the cortesy of the associates was amazing.
Disliked: Not being informed in advance about the “security” fee on the first day of stay. It was a particular case because I always use a debit card, anyway the charge was debited. I wonder if I had the opportunity to choose the card to charge this problem would never happen.

Soho area is the best...

Liked: Perfect location for native New Yorkers visiting the city. Short walk to battery park. Very quite. Easy to get a cab. Quiet hotel minus the construction noise. Can’t wait to be back.
Disliked: Nothing to complain about everything was perfect.

Exceptional

I was robbed in this...

Disliked: I was robbed in this hotel when I was not in the room. On one of the days, someone apparently broke into my room and stole my new shoes worth $3,000. I asked the hotel staff to investigate and requested footage from cameras, they told me they couldn't check that if someone entered the room or not, because there are no surveillance cameras on the floors. They gave me a form to fill out and said they would conduct an investigation. In the end, they do not answer my calls, I did not receive any messages or emails, no one returned my money for what was stolen, and no investigation was conducted... They steal at the hotel, so take care of your valuables. If this happened to me, it can happen to you too. Be careful and do not stay at Soho grand hotel because they will steal from you.
