Liked: Very clean and so many things to do! Awesome indoor courtyard as well

Liked: Great dining options. For an older resort I was impressed how clean everything was and in working order. There was something to do for the entire family at this resort.
Disliked: Location wasn't the greatest but once you're inside the resort everything was awesome and security was plentiful.

Liked: The rooms are now non-smoking, even though you can still smell cigarettes smoke coming from rooms.
Disliked: Pool and Jakuzzi was closed for maintenance the entire time. Had a "welfare" check whike I was sleeping. The housekeeper was staring whike I was standing in my underwear. I left a day early as I didn't feel safe having my privacy intruded on.

Liked: I loved the mystic falls light show and the convenience of the fast food choices available.

Liked: Rooms were clean, comfortable and modern. The Casino had a "locals" feelings - better blackjack rules that you see on the strip.
Disliked: The location was off by itself. Don't expect to walk to much.

Liked: The staff was friendly and attentive. The room was clean and fully made up daily. There is a large, very pleasant atrium in the middle of the complex.
Disliked: The casino area allows smoking and provides ashtrays at the machines, making the experience challenging for visitors who do not tolerate tobacco smoke. The area around the hotel does not feel safe.

Liked: Off the strip
Disliked: Smoking everywhere. Parking garage was detached. Hard to get to the front desk after parking.

Liked: Samstown is a great change of pace from the hustle of the Strip.
