We loved this place and...

Liked: The location was fantastic, and we loved the cute balcony overlooking a beautiful park, as well as the ambiance of the hundred year old building; it felt like a time capsule.
Disliked: Because of the age of the building, the room was a little small. However, after asking, we were told some rooms are bigger.

Liked: The history and its authenticity. Also the balcony views of downtown.
Disliked: The bathrooms have little counter spaceLike bathrooms of old.

We're looking forward to going...

Liked: This hotel is right on the main street in Winter Park - just off the central park. It's close walking distance to restaurants, shops, museums and the park. It's charming!
Disliked: It's an old hotel. The lighting is dim (for us old folks). We always carry a night light for the bathroom. The floors are also creaky. We thought it was charming but you can hear people walking in the hall. Otherwise, our room was quiet.

Would stay there again.

Liked: The balcony was amazing. The bed and especially the pillows were extremely comfortable. The staff were wonderful-friendly and helpful. The location was perfect!

Liked: I enjoyed the history that remains in the building from the elevator, the rooms, and the lobby. The customer service was also outstanding. The location is also idea if you are wanting to explore downtown Winter Park. If you are expecting a 5 star hotel this is not your place. I also recommend the patio off the room to enjoy a glass of wine or coffee.
