Good place to stay overall.

Liked: Location to Commodore Ballroom.
Disliked: Floors were uneven.

Not impressed. Would not stay again. So close to being a really nice hotel.

Liked: Great bathroom, bed and TVs.
Disliked: The rugs were filthy with stains - had to wear my shoes. Furniture was stained, marked up with wood peeling off. Not vacuumed. Was upgraded to a suite that was across the street. The elevator opened up to a parking garage with a glass door to 2 suites. As a woman alone, I felt very unsafe and vulnerable as the downstairs door was open to anyone as the door to the parking garage.

Had the room to stay overnight while checking out Vancouver and seeing a concert.

Liked: Loved our 2-night stay @ Moda Hotel! We stayed in a beautiful, clean, spacious King room. Bed was super comfortable.Reception staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. We greatly enjoyed the funky in-house Uva Wine & Cocktail Bar for breakfast, beers, cocktails and dinner.An Italian restaurant and a sports bar are also part of the hotel but were not frequented by us.Parking is conveniently located in a safe, locked parking garage opposite the hotel (CAD 23 p/night).Great location to explore the city and many cafes/restaurants are in the vicinity.For a quick coffee, Starbucks is 80m down the road. For essentials, Nesters Supermaket is 130m away.

Disliked: Albeit, I'm not good with cold temperatures, the room was really cold. I asked staff to increase the temperature, but during the 2 days, it never reached that temperature.

Liked: The location cannot be beat for this price. The staff were very friendly and attentive.
Disliked: I had low expectations due to the price. Room smelt and the mattress was HORRIBLE. The dust ruffle on the bed was also very dirty and had some mystery stains. Sheets and bathroom were clean. Since we were only there for the night I wasn't too fussed.
