Hotel Description
Our guests lap up the luxe bedding, flat-panel TVs and prime location near Chicago's famous Magnificent Mile at the non-smoking Millennium Knickerbocker Hotel. Originally opened in 1927 as the Davis Hotel, this Chicago landmark has 306 rooms on 14 floors. Rooms have 40-inch, flat-panel TVs and luxuriously soft beds with pillowtop mattresses, 400-thread-count Frette linens, down comforters and fluffy pillows. The granite countertops and rainfall showerheads provide more luxe touches. You can connect with in-room Wi-Fi, available for a fee. The on-site American bistro serves breakfast and lunch, and there's also a martini bar. A fitness center and business center, both open 24 hours a day, help guests stay on track. Located at the north end of Magnificent Mile, the Millennium Knickerbocker is a stone's throw from the Mile's high-end boutiques. The CTA's Chicago Red Line is a 10-minute walk from the hotel. Walk four minutes south to the open-air skywalk at the John Hancock Observatory or stroll a few minutes southeast to Navy Pier. The Knickerbocker is a 27-minute drive southeast of O'Hare International Airport and 21 minutes northeast of Midway International Airport. Our guests enthuse about the Millennium Knickerbocker Hotel's "beautifully appointed rooms with luxurious bathrooms," "accommodating and professional staff" and "wonderful" location near the Magnificent Mile.

Liked: Nice hotel , rooms updated, beautiful entrance, love the lounge.
Disliked: Hallway smelled moldy, no bathtub, very overpriced, a small room and parking rate was the same as 1 nights stay for 2 nights... Very overpriced!

Liked: Decent view.
Disliked: Cost of parking was pretty high. "included breakfast" was actually a credit at the restaurant and wasn't enough to cover the buffet.

Poor - 1.9 out of 5

Mendo Thu, 21 July 2016

Disliked: The furniture was old and dirty The carpet was worn and dirty For the price they charged I expected much more This is a 100 dollar per night hotel at best They have parking as one of the amenities but don't tell you it's 65 dollars per day to park Seriously Dissatisfied!

Jordan Tue, 19 July 2016

Liked: The location was wonderful, and the hotel was beautiful.
Disliked: The elevators consistently had issues, and our group got stuck on an elevator. We saw multiple other groups get stuck on the elevator as well. The beds could have used more pillows, two per bed seemed stingy!

1.9

Poor - 1.9 out of 5

Casey Tue, 19 July 2016

Liked: The doorman/baggage handlers very kind and helpful. The location is great.
Disliked: Good sweet lord, the price of this place... Parking is extremely overpriced, especially considering there is a cheaper parking lot across the street. The rooms are very small and do not compare to cheaper hotels with more comfort and amenities. Wifi is typically a standard wherever you go yet here, you have to pay for it? We will not be staying here again...
