Price was a bit high but the hotel was in a great location and the rooms were well appointed.

Pros: Great location.
Cons: Pillows were too soft.

Very nice hotel and a bargain for the price. Staff was wonderful and couldn't have accommodated us more. Definitely on our stay again list.

Pros: Everything else
Cons: Room cleaning too early

great for location, right across from Drake and near Michigan avenue, rooms are nice, no room service and tiny elevators are a negative

Pros: location is the main highlight
Cons: no room service offered which was the first I've seen in a Chicago hotel of this caliber. elevators are tiny and long lines for elevators. under-staffed front desk so there is always a long wait.

Pros: Clean rooms, great staff! Very accommodating. You can park at the John Hancock center and get cheaper parking if you don't mind walking a block.

Music fills the air every evening as jazz is played in the bar area. This is not a stodgy place although it may appear quite upscale earlier in the day. Because of its European ownership, there were a lot more European tourists here than in other hotels we've stayed at in Chicago. Made for interesting elevator rides...the accents abounded!

Pros: Terrific classic hotel with modern accoutrements.

Other than the small room size, this is a good hotel.

Pros: Comfortable bed, great location, helpful staff.
Cons: Rooms are small...not enough space to open suitcase. Definitely too small for a couple...barely adequate for solo traveller.
