Rooms have 40-inch, flat-panel TVs and luxuriously soft beds with pillowtop mattresses, 400-thread-count Frette linens, down comforters and fluffy pillows. The granite countertops and rainfall showerheads provide more luxe touches. You can connect with in-room Wi-Fi, available for a fee. Located at the north end of Magnificent Mile, the Millennium Knickerbocker is a stone's throw from the Mile's high-end boutiques. The CTA's Chicago Red Line is a 10-minute walk from the hotel. Walk four minutes south to the open-air skywalk at the John Hancock Observatory or stroll a few minutes southeast to Navy Pier. Very nice hotel and a bargain for the price. Staff was wonderful and couldn't have accommodated us more. Definitely on our stay again list.

Pros: The staff was super nice and so very wonderful. The value and the cleanliness of the room was outstanding. Check out was 11:00am without any add'l charge. We were allowed to check in early as our room was available (winning!!). Loved that there was a gym. Lobby was very welcoming and there is a martini bar !!
Cons: Parking fees were outrageous.I called prior to arrival and was told parking would be $30 however at check in I was told $67.50 a nite (YIKES) and that $30 parking is typically offerd as part of a package deal which is something I wasn't told when I called HOWEVER we found parking up the block for $35 and the hotel was so outstanding that we didn't even care. :)

Pros: I only stayed one night and got a good deal on a travel website. Checking in was easy. My room was smallish but spotless. It was quiet too, far from the elevator. The bed was very comfortable. I slept like a log.
Cons: Theye is no free wifi, house keeping knocked at my door around 830, and I detected a faint odor in the otherwise spotless big bathroom.

Pros: Love the central location of this hotel. Just off Michigan Ave shops, restaurants & sights. Short bus ride to Lincoln Park zoo & museums. The lobby bar with weekend entertainment (pianist) was a pleasant way to relax after a day of sight seeing. Nice cafe/breakfast area. For inner city hotel our room was a comfortable size with lux feel bathroom with large rain shower. No view from our room, just the hotel behind us.
Cons: Extremely long line of guests waiting to check-in on Friday pm. There was only once staff member at the desk and it as evident she was feeling under pressure! That being said she was very helpful in reassigning us from a delux King room to a double Queen to better accommodate us. Parking is expensive at $67 per night for valet parking. There is NO option to self park. The hotel has a strange rule that does not permit a guest to take their own luggage with cart to/from their room. Must have bell hop take the cart!

Pros: Stayed over NYE weekend. Front door staff very helpful. Check-in staff busy but very attentive and upgraded our room. Huge and comfy bed. Great location.
Cons: The bathroom could have had a bath. Room was a little dated and worn.
