Very nice hotel and a bargain for the price. Staff was wonderful and couldn't have accommodated us more. Definitely on our stay again list.

Pros:  Everything else
Cons:  Room cleaning too early

Compared to the other 4 stars that we stayed in in this area. I feel like it should not be rated 4 star. The room was very damp. Ruined the popcorn that I had gotten to take home for family. The air kicked on every 8 minutes no matter what you have the temp on. Which was loud making it not a good night sleep.

Pros:  Location
Cons:  The suit we upgraded to was terrible. Way less room than a standard room. We put the do not disturb tag on our room and they cleaned it anyway. We had private information out. Was not happy about this at all.

Location is perfect. It's a $10 cab ride to Navy Pier and you don't have to walk very far to the subway to get to Wrigley, Willis Tower, etc. And being a block off of Michigan Avenue was wonderful. The room was very clean and well appointed. A little small but, it's a historic builing and you shouldn't be spending your vacation in the hotel room anyway. I read a lot of reviews from other guests that said the staff was just amazing. No one ever really talked to us. We received a hello from an attendant in the lobby but no one ever even opened the door for us in or out. But, we were not treated badly by anymeans. Don't use the valet parking, it's $65/day. We found a Buddy's Parking Garage down the street through Spot Hero and only paid $47 for 48 hrs. This hotel is wonderful and we will stay there again. (Ask to stay in a room with an even number. Much better views.)

Pros:  Location, cleanliness, and security
Cons:  Wasn't aware of the $50/day hold for incidentals until check-in. I understand that they do this but would have been good to know before hand. The $65/day valet fee is very high.
