Price was a bit high but the hotel was in a great location and the rooms were well appointed.

Liked: Great location.
Disliked: Pillows were too soft.

Very nice hotel and a bargain for the price. Staff was wonderful and couldn't have accommodated us more. Definitely on our stay again list.

Disliked: Room cleaning too early

Liked: The location was perfect for our trip. It was in close proximity to Wrigley Field and there was a large selection of restaurants to choose from nearby. Lincoln Park, museums, etc. are nearby to enjoy too. The staff was friendly and prompt. We had a TV remote that suddenly stopped working and after a call to the front desk, a maintenance worker came to our room and quickly resolved the issue. The front desk staff - Edward - offered to waive the $10.95/day WIFI charge, which was appreciated.
Disliked: Parking cost was high...$67 per day. We ended up Ubering everywhere because parking in Chicago is terrible. I'd be nice if there was a 'parking' package that actually offered a price break than just the normal flat rate.

Liked: Staff, especially the two night bartenders one of which made an outstanding espresso martini and Lewis the Bellman were exceptional.
Disliked: Elevator was broken and it took forever to get up and down the elevator. I'm 66 with bad knees and had to take the stairs twice from the seventh floor . No room service! Very few amenities no gift shop etc.

Liked: Henry - the Concierge - was SUPERB. Couldn't help enough - last minute tickets for the CSO and the Architectural River Cruise. Very good location near the 'Magnificent Mile' - and all it's stores. Most major sites are walkable. Beds extremely comfortable , very efficient air conditioning. Bar staff - and snacks - good.
Disliked: Over $10/day to use the internet- even the local cabs offer it for free! I was just given a key to my room when I checked in and left to it. No offer with luggage. Nice to be asked even if you decline. When I asked later where the usual 'Hotel Info Brochure' for such things as room service I was told to use the computer in the room - which I never did find out how to switch on. Reception just didn't seem as enthusiastic as others areas. Which is a shame as it's their ''face' to the public. The efficient air conditioning wakes you up every 30-40 minutes! The hotel seems 'tired', slightly drab decor and dark all the time as it gets no sunlight.

Liked: The location was awesome. We loved it. And the concierge was extremely helpful. Oh and while the elevators were slow, they were lovely. I loved the interior.
Disliked: My only observation, which I know will probably seems ridiculous, is the elevators were really slow... yeah, I know, first world problems.

Liked: I love this hotel is the second time I have stayed there. Location is great half a block from Michigan Avenue. Walking distance from Rush Street full of lovely restaurants and shopping is one block away...and also the bus stop for the Hop On Hop Off tour is a block away!! I love it!
Disliked: They have taken the Orange Butter Belgian Waffles with warm maple syrup out of the breakfast menu!! That is a major loss.

Omid Sun, 18 September 2016

Liked: The location was prime
Disliked: The elevators weren't functioning properly. Long wait times to get to the 7th floor. Also the toilet in the room was not comfortable AT ALL. I wouldn't stay here again no offense.
