Exceptional - 5 out of 5

Terri S, Kerrville TX Mon, 3 December 2012

I adored staying at the Stephen F Austin hotel. The staff was super friendly and accommodating, the room was beautiful and comfortable, and it was next door to the theater where I went to a concert (Stateside at the Paramount). A super deal all the way around.

Liked: Wonderful hotel.

Very Good - 4.2 out of 5

Katie Tue, 26 July 2016

Liked: Bed was so comfortable!! Room was very clean. Location was really great.
Disliked: They didn't advertise their refrigerator policy very well. The small card containing the policy was underneath an item in the refrigerator and a slightly larger one was pushed so far back that it took a day and a half for us to notice it. However, they did waive the fees on the final bill. Very expensive to use valet ($40+ a night!).

Laycee Sun, 10 July 2016

Liked: bed was comfy, good spot for cruising 6th street.
Disliked: Room was nothing special, ridiculous parking, cold breakfast. Staff seemed to act as if we didn't belong there, could've stayed at a holiday inn for the same room and $150 cheaper with free parking.

Liked: Super luxurious, beautiful entry and clean from top to bottom!
Disliked: Didn't have more time to explore the hotel. Arrived late and checked out before 6am.

Disliked: The parking fee is ridiculous! Nice hotel, but really...their prices are super high.

Jill Mon, 2 May 2016

Liked: Room was very, very comfortable with a feeling of 'class'. Nice amenities. Very inviting cocktail lounge with a second-story outdoor seating area from which to enjoy the evening.
Disliked: Bathroom counter space was limited.

Disappointing - 2.3 out of 5

Lauren-michelle Tue, 26 April 2016

Liked: The location in downtown
Disliked: The room was tiny!! I only booked this hotel based on a wonderful stay at the Intercontinental in Chicago. The views were horrible (see attached)! The shower backed up with water. So gross! I had to re-wash my feet once I got out of the shower. Absolutely not worth the high price!

Pamela Wed, 20 April 2016

Liked: Great downtown location and right across from The Driskill and it's great bar. The Roaring Fork restaurant off the lobby has great food, atmosphere and fun decor. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. The Club breakfast service is great.
Disliked: The bed was too hard and towels a bit rough. Being a older building, the room temp in bathroom was warmer than the rest of the room and had no fan to circulate air. Only 1 vent in room so freezing or fine, depending on where you were.
