Liked: The spacious room (suite) - perfect for my weary family after two days of walking in NYC. The pool and whirlpool were a hit with my kids. A perfect way to close our trip
Disliked: Atrium in construction

Liked: Large room, comfortable bed clean bathroom
Disliked: All under construction and without any warning or heads up. Paid extra for a atrium view and there was no atrium and go pushed to an outside room with views of more construction

Very disappointing for a Hyatt....

Liked: Very little.
Disliked: I reserved three rooms. They only had one room reserved for me when I arrived. Then, they sent me express check out after one night when I was staying two. They provided 1 one ounce bottle of shower gel for two people…hardly adequate. Pillows were the size you would put on a twin bed but I had a king bed. Refrigerator was removed from the room. Hotel very tired. Parking lot was full of pot holes. One party I travelled with found Skittles on the floor when they checked in. Another had no bath towels in their room.

Disliked: Two fire alarms just at bedtime, which necessitated walking long distances to exit the building--twice.Our room key did not work, and battery had to be replaced, which delayed our entry into the roomRoom service breakfast--due to dining room construction---was very good, but not enough chairs for three of us to eat in the room comfortably.

Disappointed. If you need to...

Liked: The room was clean. Area close to the train in Greenwich to NYC is great. Restaurant choices outside of hotel in the area always appreciated.
Disliked: We have been here before we loved it so much we rebooked when I had work in the area. Arrived this year to find the hotel in complete construction NOT just the lobby area. Which is how it is worded online. The entire atrium was gutted. Construction zone and boards up with dirt, dust and saws construction sounds everywhere. Make shift lobby desk at back door. We had no idea the hotel was under this much renovation. Online suggesting the lobby area under refurbishment but the entire center of the hotel atrium (which is the biggest part of this hotel) under major construction impacting the whole hotel. No easy access to facilities that might be seconds away, having to walk around even outside around exterior of hotel to access spaces seconds away from the inside. Hallways had food and trash. Rude and unruly guests, drunk/high running through the hallway outside our room at midnight. Still no restaurant. We came back for that atrium and peace. We booked and paid for an atrium view and got moved to a street view. Honestly with the hotel in such a mess no atriums rooms SHOULD be an option at all. Unfair to allow guests to choose an atrium room online knowing full well the condition and disruption to your stay. No discount or price change after the room changes. We will probably not be back, and will have to find a different area hotel. Also $20 per day to park.

Liked: The staff was great.
Disliked: The property needs some sprucing up and updating. The staff were great. They also told us that the property is being renovated including the restaurant and the rooms.
