The hotel was clean and great air conditioner. Other than that, liked nothing. Staff not friendly or helpful; valet was a joke; then no parking lot and no shuttle to stadium. I saw Marriot Courtyard and they had shuttle and desk staff was very friendly when I went in inquiring. I will be staying there from now on!
Liked: Clean room.
Disliked: Staff wasn't helpful or friendly; there was no parking, no vending machines and no shuttle to stadium.

Check-in starts at 3pm; recommend calling ahead to see if you have a cleaned room. I stood in line waiting to check-in at the desk for 2 hours with other guests and still didn't get a cleaned room prior to our concert event.
Liked: Location to the Spectrum Center Event.
Disliked: Stood in line for 2 hours waiting to get checked in along with about 20 other guests starting at 5pm-7:15pm and couldn't get a cleaned room. We had to use the public bathrooms to get ready for the 7:30pm Kid Rock Concert. It's been three days and I'm still waiting for the General Manager Adam to comp my room. I did receive a room key so I could get into my room after the concert. We got 4 hours of sleep for $243.00 at a 4 Star Hotel. The hotel was not prepared for the number of guests who had reservations. Hoping to see my credit card credited as the hotel promised.

Room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff was very willing to answer any questions and was very courteous.
Liked: Room was comfortable. Staff was helpful and very courteous.
Disliked: No shuttle service.

They asked about what brought us there and after we said we were attending a concert they immediately got a car scheduled for us so we didn't have to drive and worry about parking. Will most definitely stay here anytime I'm in Charlotte NC.

Great deal on the room....
Liked: Dining options. The staff, especially valet were friendly, jovial, helpful and approachable. Very courteous. Room was spacious.
Disliked: Location. Very complicated to get to the entrance, almost like someone saw a building and was determined to stick a hotel there. Unfortunately one of the main elevators was broken when we first arrived and then the 2nd main elevator malfunctioned during our stay. Hotel staff had to have guests take the employee-only elevator to get to our respective rooms.

If I was coming back...
Liked: The one plus with the stay was the friendly staff. They were pleasant and extremely helpful.
Disliked: The toilet in the room ran all night long, the pillows were not comfortable at all. We got a room for three people, which meant one person would sleep on the couch bed. However, when we opened up the sofa bed, there was only a sheet on it. In the entire room, there was only one extra blanket and no extra pillows for us to put on that bed. I gave my co-worker pillows off my bed. Not that they were comfy at all. Talk about flat pillows. They make look fluffy but they go flat when you put your head on them but that’s typical hotel pillows for you. The breakfast was not great or hot as one might expect given they were serving hot food. I expected so much more out of the hotel given the brand and my previous experiences with this particular brand. Given the amount being charged, I would hope the room would have been in better condition and the food hot. There should be extra blankets given the amount of beds in a room for people. Meaning if you have three beds, then one should expect at least three extra blankets and a couple of pillows. A constantly running toilet didn’t help matters. I know this seems really complaining but I was really surprised by how this hotel was given my past stays in other hotels within the same brand family. Especially since I was the one to recommend this hotel chain to my co-workers for a conference we were attending.
