Poor customer service and communication

Liked: The beds were comfortable and the location was close to amenities. The woman I spoke with in the morning, Diane, was very friendly and helpful and ended up resolving the issue I had with my reservation on booking.com and secured me a refund after I was made to pay twice upon checkin.
Disliked: I reserved through booking.com but it was not appearing in their system on site. The front desk staff told me they would follow up and get back to me, asking that I pay again in the meantime, but never called me. When I discovered the tv in the room was so old that it didn't have an hdmi input, I asked if anything could be done and again was told they would have to get back to me and ,again, I never heard anything. When I checked out, I asked if there had been any resolution to the reservation issue I had when checking in and the woman at the desk had no idea what I was talking about. Very poor customer service by the gentleman I dealt with during the night I stayed. No attempt to resolve my issues or to communicate with me or with the following shift, even after saying he would "follow up."
