It was the cheapest option...

Liked: The location was quite good - not right in the downtown center but at a walkable distance although you had to go up a small hill (which I didn’t care about but maybe older folks). The staff was very nice and accommodating, I really liked that.
Disliked: The room itself was dirty - the floor had stains that I cleaned myself on the first day. It seems like it was only vacuum cleaned to the bare minimum. The hotel is in need of renovation, a lot is just broken or cracked and really not as nice as on the pictures. There was hair in my bed (not from me) although I felt like the sheets were washed and everything. The doors were not isolated at all, I could hear everything on the outside and see a lot through the doorcrack (I was also able to hear the streets and planes landing). The windows were also not very thick or soundproof and the curtains were not long enough for the window. That means I was in constant fear that someone could look inside through the cracks to the left and right of the too short curtains. There was no shower gel, just shampoo. The water pressure in the shower was basically not existent. The outlet situation could be improved - I had to push one of the beds aside to have an outlet that’s close to the bed.

Disliked: The property was good the staff was amazing But was a lot of homeless people around walking up seen a lot of drug use And no I can’t and don’t blame management, but they do need the tail city workers councilman whoever

Liked: I believe that we paid way beyond what we should have paid for this hotel. Nothing has been updated you can tell in years, probably since the 90s. We chose this hotel bec it was more of an affordable option to be closer to downtown San Diego.
Disliked: What we didnt like was walking in and just feeling outright disappointed with how much we spent, $---for a night and the hotel did not meet our expectations.
