The hotel front desk employees were great; the room was clean and nice; I would tell anyone if you're going to the beach, stay at this hotel - wonderful.

The room was clean, the staff was extremely helpful and it was extremely affordable. Also loved the free wifi and great breakfast.

The Barefoot Courtyard was a great place to stay! Clean, comfortable and close to the House of Blues. The staff was very accommodating and we will definitely stay again on our next trip to Myrtle Beach.

Disliked: My room was terrible. Room had an odor and the floor/carpet was wet. I spoke to front desk about it and they told me they were fully booked and there were no other rooms available. They apologized but also there was major renovation going on at the property that we were unaware of. This should have been disclosed

Disliked: No outdoor pool but outside patio very dirty and not maintained. Hallways were not vacuumed and garbage not emptied at ice machine area

Good location and nice staff.

Liked: Our room had not been cleaned and when we mentioned it they immediately apologized and came up to take care of it.
Disliked: I didn’t know that there was construction going on until we checked in. There was no mention of it when we booked. Overall it was a nice hotel just the construction was a inconvenience and it blocked off several parking spaces which was mainly the handicap spots.

Liked: They allowed me to cancel without penalty.
Disliked: The property was undergoing renovations and did not provide a notice prior to booking. The photos online were the total opposite of what’s online.

Liked: The location is great
Disliked: Parking was very limited. There was construction you were not warned about until you checked in and paid. There was a distinct smell.of sewage coming form the water pipes in the early mornings.

Liked: Staff was excellent! Breakfast was good! Close to the beach and shopping.
Disliked: Parking was a bummer, but that was because construction was going on. We did not like that the hotel was trying to save a penny but NOT cleaning our room. We have to ask for new towels 2x in 4 nights. The floors, in the room and the hallways, were filthy. The floors were not mopped by the ice machine, little things like that.
