Great facility! Our room felt like an elegant tree house with the redwood deck extending into the woods. The staff was perfect and the food was amazing and really fun. Ostrich Carpaccio - WOW! Current rates makes this resort a bargain!!

Disliked: The standard King room has adjoining doors and absolutely no noise insulation. The folks next to us had all their friends up to their room and it sounded like they were all in our room

Disliked: We booked a King Balcony Room. We were willing to pay the price we did due to the balcony. When we arrived, we got a patio room and after calling the desk, we were told there were no balcony rooms on the facility, how we could see balcony rooms with sliding doors. Very disappointed. Order room service cocktails and dessert. The cocktails were served in plastic cups and no utensils/napkins for the dessert.

Liked: Many troops face into the woods, allowing for views of birds, deer, etc. loved that there were a variety of spaces all over the property where people could spend time. Firepits, poolside, a lovely big room with a fireplace and cozy chairs in the main lodge.
Disliked: Our room was a bit worn out. Lots of paint chips and marks on the walls, for example. However the bed was very comfortable.

Disliked: The service. They seemed understaffed and took 3 hours to get us dinner after confusing or losing the order twice. And... didn't offer anything to make that experience better.Many staff along the hallways and grounds couldn't help due to the language barrier. I was told multiple times that: "I don't speak English" and never offered anymore assistance. That was frustrating, cause I was not able to walk all the way to the front every time I needed help. Also, handicapped parking is not appropriate for the size of the facility. I had to walk farther than needed to go to my room, and I need assistance with walking long distances. There was no extra help offered. I had even asked if there was a handicapped parking spot in front of our room. I was assured there was and then had to park 3 buildings down from my room's entrance. There was no spot in front of my building with ADA parking.
