This was our first visit to Red Rocks, and I am sure we will return! This is an experience that everyone would enjoy!

Liked: The experience of watching our favorite band at Red Rocks!
Disliked: We were in the 4th row but seats 1 and 2 which put our view almost behind the sound engineers. Our view of the show was not great.

There really isn't a bad seat in the house so if you have any issues whatsoever related to climbing stairs just get a ticket close to the top and park in the upper lots. The food and drink is pricey, just like most other places, but handy for some. Smoke of any kind was never a problem before, during or after the concert. I saw Joe Bonamassa and, well, if you haven't seen him live you should. The Days Inn in Golden was a perfect place to stay for this unforgettable concert.

Liked: The sound is incredible from any seat.
Disliked: None.

Buy General Admission and get there early - there isn't a bad seat in the house. You can pick your seats, put down a blanket and be very comfortable. You are squished in Assigned seating. Be prepared for the smoke. They require cigarette smokers to go to the outside stair areas, but if you are smoking pot, just light up right where you are. For anyone who has allergies, sensitivities or has to take a U.I., it is miserable. For this reason, I would not bring a young child. Also, concessions are pricey - very very pricey. Plan on a very slow exit. If you get parking close to the entrance it will take a solid hour to exit the venue and get to the main road. Have water and munchies ready for the wait. Overall, the venue is like no other, and that is the only reason we attend concerts there - it is breathtaking.

Liked: Obviously the location is breathtaking and the seating is great - especially General Admission.
Disliked: The open 'pot smoking' was way out of control. If you don't want to go home 'high' - don't go.

Liked: There were no bad seats in the venue and the sound was awesome!
Disliked: We had 5:30 reservations at the Ship Rock Grille. We were told we need to stand at the back of the concert line to get into the concert. We were late for our reservation and nobody at the restaurant, including the manager, cared. We had to take the risk of missing the beginning of the concert. It made the reservation not worth it and was only a hassle! Eat before you go.

Liked: Very friendly and clean. Extremely comfortable bedding.

This amphitheater was disappointing. I had high expectations because of rave reviews. However, arriving at the amphitheater, I realized I was in for a hike. Climbing the stairs constantly to get into the amphitheater, then to get to your seat, and again if you wanted a drink or to use the restroom was just irritating. It also rained quite heavily during the show making the stairs slippery. Poor lighting on the stairs made it even more difficult to navigate. Attendants were less then helpful when we got lost trying to find our car. Perhaps I would have had a better time if the rain hadn't caused so much havoc.

Liked: Beautiful atmosphere.
Disliked: There are so many stairs! Any time you need to get a drink, or use the restroom, it requires a hike.

Liked: Amazing place with amazing people.
Disliked: None.

The venue and show was awesome - can't wait to return for another wonderful experience.

Liked: Best place to see concerts - had a wonderful time.
