Toulouse Lautrec Restaurant & Jazz Club

Having a fixed priced menu means from the outset you can control your budget, but they add an automatic 10% service charge (I would prefer to tip for good service). The ambience is very French as is the welcome - The house Red is very drinkable and well worth the £17 for the bottle.

Liked: The restaurant has been decorated to a high standard and is a gem in an otherwise depressed area. The food and service were really good as was the jazz entertainment provided.
Disliked: The immediate local area is rough - walking back to the underground station, Elephant & Castle, could be a frightening experience.
