Hearty Italian Fare in the Heart of Midtown Manhattan

With walls lined with vintage photos and a staff that treats everyone like family, Tony’s offers a nostalgic slice of Little Italy right in Midtown.

Why Concert-goers love it

Concert-goers appreciate Tony’s for its quick and efficient service, which makes it easy to dine before a show without feeling rushed. Its central location near many performance venues means you can enjoy a hearty meal just minutes before the curtain rises. With a buzzing vibe and large group tables, it’s also a great spot to fuel up with friends or toast a night out.

What People Say

Reviews on TripAdvisor and OpenTable consistently praise the friendly service, huge portions, and the feeling of dining at a big Italian family gathering. Diners love the classic dishes like chicken parmigiana, baked ziti, and tiramisu, and mention that the location is perfect for grabbing dinner before heading to a show. Many say it’s a must-visit every time they’re in Midtown.

Areas for Improvement

Due to its popularity, Tony’s can get very crowded, especially during peak pre-show hours—so reservations are strongly recommended. Some guests mention that the noise level can be high, so it’s not the best choice for a quiet dinner. But if you’re here for the energy and excitement, it’s all part of the charm.

The Bottom Line

If you're looking for a lively, satisfying meal just steps from NYC’s top concert venues, Tony’s Di Napoli - Midtown hits the right note.

OMG! Good thing we noticed that each dinner could feed 2-3 people! The food was served hot by a wonderful waiter who could not do enough for us. Next time I am in NYC, I will look forward to enjoying another dinner here!

This was our first time to Tony's Restaurant. I would go again and again and again - it was excellent. Dominic from Albania was our waiter - he was very nice, very pleasant, very courteous and kind. We were there for a 45th wedding anniversary and enjoyed our experience immensely.

It was our first time at the restaurant and definitely the right choice. Our server Ryan was most helpful with the menu choices. He was most attentive but not the hovering type. His suggestions were right on and of course the food was delicious. The dessert was unique with a hot sauce and served in a large martini glass. Di Napoli's will be our restaurant of choice when going to the theater.

Liked: Perfect location; fantastic menu; attentive service.
