Sunday Vinyl is a modern, vinyl-inspired wine bar in the heart of downtown Denver, located right off the historic 16th Street Mall. Just a short walk from major concert venues, this stylish spot blends a passion for wine, music, and elevated comfort food in a space that feels both hip and welcoming. Why Concert-goers love it

Location is everything—and Sunday Vinyl delivers. Just minutes from top venues like Ball Arena and the Paramount Theatre, it's an ideal stop before catching a show. Guests love the chill ambiance, which stays lively without being too loud. The staff is attentive and service is prompt, making it easy to enjoy a glass of wine and small plates without stressing about missing your set time. The wine-forward menu and cozy-yet-modern aesthetic make it the perfect vibe setter for a night of music.

Who this Restaurant is great for

  • Groups of friends looking to catch up over shared plates and wine
  • Solo travelers easing into a night out with great music and a glass of red

What People Say

Reviewers on TripAdvisor and OpenTable praise Sunday Vinyl for its exceptional wine list, knowledgeable staff, and vinyl-spun soundtrack that enhances the atmosphere. Many highlight the “perfect pre-concert stop” feel, with standout dishes like the duck confit and house-made pasta. Guests appreciate the “urban chic” vibe and say it’s a “must for any wine lover visiting downtown Denver.”

Areas for Improvement

The wine focus means fewer options for beer lovers or those seeking a full cocktail menu. Seating is cozy, which adds to the ambiance but might not suit larger parties looking to spread out. It’s also a popular spot, so reservations are recommended—especially before big shows.

The Bottom Line

If you're headed to a concert in downtown Denver and want a sophisticated, music-loving space to kick off your night, Sunday Vinyl hits all the right notes.

l Attentive service and good spacing between tables. Went for restaurant week and food was well presented. Food descriptions were amazing. Food itself was not jaw dropping. We won’t be back.
