This was my first "real" visit to Atlanta besides driving through via car or on the airlines. I was seeking a new and different dining experience and I took a lot of time reading reviews of various more upscale restaurants, and Ray's in the City stood out. It was a surprise birthday treat for a special friend and both of us were delighted with this choice. Our appetizer was delivered in a good time span and was very tasty and my Ray's salad was the best salad I have ever had. It was fresh and had the best ingredients and flavors ever! The portions were more than sufficient. Our broiled seafood platter and steak fries were at the right temperature and portions were more than enough to share. We had our desserts to go because there was no way either of us could have eaten any more but did not want to leave it out. During the course of our meal, the live jazz ensemble started playing and the music made dining even more pleasurable. Our server, Mr. Juan was attentive and provided spot on service. He was helpful and friendly. I love this place and will return without hesitation. Thank you for a wonderful evening.
