About Pincette
The Spotlight on Pincette

Seafood with a Side of Old Montreal Charm

Located in the heart of Old Montreal, Pincette delivers a cozy, upscale maritime dining experience just a short walk from many of the city's popular concert venues. This lobster bar brings a slice of the Atlantic coast to downtown Montréal, with a menu focused on fresh seafood and a warm, relaxed vibe that’s both date-night-worthy and group-friendly.

The restaurant’s interior features nautical-inspired decor with rustic wood accents and soft lighting, making it a welcoming stop whether you're headed to an arena show or an intimate jazz set nearby.

Why Concert-goers love it

Pincette stands out for its proximity to Old Port venues, making it an easy pre-show dinner spot. Guests appreciate the efficient service—you can enjoy a full meal without stressing about curtain time. The ambiance is lively but not too loud, so it’s easy to hold a conversation before the music starts. Plus, the menu offers a variety of shareable plates and seafood classics that suit both quick bites and longer meals.

Who this Restaurant is great for

  • Groups of friends looking to split oysters or lobster mac and cheese
  • Solo travelers wanting a quality meal at the bar
  • Couples planning a romantic pre-concert dinner
  • Fans who want a lively, stylish atmosphere before the show
  • Budget-conscious music lovers looking for happy hour deals and lunch specials

What People Say

Guests rave about the lobster rolls, seafood platters, and attentive service. The location is frequently praised as perfect for exploring Old Montreal or grabbing a bite before a nearby performance. Diners also love the unique Quebec twist on classic East Coast seafood fare, and the warm ambiance that makes it easy to relax before a big night out.

Areas for Improvement

Some reviewers mention that prices can lean toward the higher side, especially for the à la carte seafood items. During peak times, service can be a touch slower, so arriving a bit earlier before your show is a smart move. Reservations are recommended to avoid wait times.

The Bottom Line

Pincette offers fresh seafood, cozy ambiance, and a prime Old Montreal location that’s perfect for concert-goers looking to dine well before the music starts.
