About Phoenix Bourbon Room
The Spotlight on Phoenix Bourbon Room

Whiskey, Burgers & Good Vibes in Downtown Phoenix

Located in the heart of downtown Phoenix, Phoenix Bourbon Room brings together classic American comfort food, a serious selection of whiskey, and a casual, vibrant atmosphere. Just steps away from downtown’s top music venues, it’s a go-to pre-show hangout with a stylish bar, hearty plates, and TVs for catching the game or music videos while you dine.

With exposed brick walls, rustic decor and plenty of seating, the space strikes a balance between energetic and laid-back—ideal for fueling up before a concert or winding down afterward.

Why Concert-goers love it

Its prime location near major music venues makes it a natural choice for pre-show dining. The kitchen serves up reliable American classics like burgers, wings, and loaded fries—perfect for sharing with friends or grabbing a quick bite. Service is known to be quick and attentive, helping you make your show on time. The bar features a well-curated bourbon list, ideal for a celebratory pour before the lights go down.

Who this Restaurant is great for

  • Groups of friends looking for a fun, casual hangout spot
  • Solo travelers grabbing a bite before a show
  • Couples wanting a low-key dinner with good drinks
  • Fans who enjoy music videos and ambient tunes while eating
  • Budget-conscious concert-goers who want hearty portions at fair prices

What People Say

Reviewers on TripAdvisor and OpenTable love the high-energy vibe, generous portions, and extensive bourbon selection. Many mention the friendly and fast service, and that it’s a great place to meet up before a concert. Guests also appreciate the central location in downtown Phoenix and say it’s a welcoming spot whether you're in jeans or dressed to see your favorite band.

Areas for Improvement

Some diners note that the menu isn’t particularly adventurous—expect crowd-pleasing staples rather than gourmet innovation. It can get a bit loud during peak hours, so it’s not the best pick if you’re after a quiet dinner. And while the bourbon list is extensive, cocktail lovers say the mixed drinks can sometimes be hit or miss.

The Bottom Line

Phoenix Bourbon Room is a lively, convenient stop for satisfying food and drinks just minutes from the stage—perfect for kicking off your concert night right.

l It was totally empty at 8pm on. Thursday night which should have been my first clue. Arrogant butcher directly below has nearly identical menu for lower prices so they are probably stealing some...
