About Pasta da Pulcinella
The Spotlight on Pasta da Pulcinella

Rustic Italian Charm in the Heart of Midtown Atlanta

Tucked inside a cozy 1930s house in Midtown Atlanta, Pasta da Pulcinella offers an intimate escape with the flavors of Northern Italy. With its warm, rustic décor, candlelit tables, and a charming courtyard, this restaurant is a favorite among locals and visitors alike. Conveniently located just blocks from many of Atlanta’s most popular concert venues, it’s a go-to spot for delicious pasta dishes and relaxed, elegant vibes before a show.

Known for its handmade pastas, thoughtful wine list, and personalized service, Pasta da Pulcinella blends fine dining with the feel of a neighborhood gem. The menu rotates seasonally and showcases fresh, simple ingredients in classic Italian preparations.

Why Concert-goers love it

Concert-goers appreciate how close Pasta da Pulcinella is to top Atlanta music venues—perfect for a pre-show dinner without feeling rushed. The service is known for being efficient and attentive, making it easy to enjoy a full meal with time to spare. The ambiance is cozy but never too loud, offering a peaceful contrast to the high energy of a concert night.

Who this Restaurant is great for

  • Groups of friends looking to share a bottle of wine and handmade pasta
  • Solo travelers enjoying a quiet, quality meal before a big show
  • Couples on a romantic music-filled getaway
  • Fans who want an elevated yet unpretentious pre-concert experience
  • Budget-conscious diners—especially those who take advantage of the popular prix fixe lunch menu

What People Say

Reviews from TripAdvisor and OpenTable consistently praise the house-made pasta and exceptional service. Diners love the “hidden gem” feel and romantic setting, especially the outdoor patio when the weather’s nice. Many guests mention how they were able to enjoy a leisurely meal and still make it to their show on time. Favorites include the Pappardelle al Cinghiale (wild boar pasta) and the signature Ravioli di Aragosta.

Areas for Improvement

Some guests note that the restaurant is on the smaller side, so reservations are a must—especially on weekends. Parking can be a bit tricky in Midtown, but rideshare or walking from nearby venues is often the easiest solution. Also, while the interior is charming, it can feel a little tight during peak hours.

The Bottom Line

If you're looking for authentic Italian cuisine in a relaxed yet refined setting just minutes from the concert action, Pasta da Pulcinella hits all the right notes.

Melvin, Suwanee

My wife Darlene picked this place for my birthday and it was perfect. After being welcomed by the owner and our excellent server Robin, he helped us select our meals as this was our first time at this restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious and our drinks, apple martinis, were really delicious and started our evening off just right. I would recommend this place to anyone that wants to have a wonderful dining experience.

Liked: The food, the service and atmosphere.
Disliked: Nothing.
