About Onda
The Spotlight on Onda

Korean-Inspired Vibes Just Steps from the Stage

Onda is a modern Korean restaurant nestled in the heart of Midtown Nashville, just a short walk from some of the city’s biggest concert venues. With a sleek, minimalist interior and a menu that puts a creative twist on traditional Korean dishes, Onda delivers a hip yet welcoming dining experience. Whether you're grabbing a quick bite before the show or winding down after a big night out, this spot hits all the right notes.

Why Concert-goers love it

Onda scores high with music fans thanks to its prime location—close enough to walk to most major venues but tucked just far enough away to avoid the crowds. The vibe is energetic but not too loud, making it ideal for pre-show conversation. Many reviewers mention the efficient service, which means you won't be late for your set time. The small plates menu also makes it easy to share dishes or grab a quick, flavorful meal before heading out.

Who this Restaurant is great for

  • Groups of friends looking to split a few bold, spicy dishes
  • Solo travelers grabbing a seat at the bar for a quick bite and a cocktail
  • Couples wanting to start their show night with something stylish and different
  • Fans who want a lively but not overwhelming pre-show environment
  • Budget-conscious foodies who appreciate flavor-packed dishes without blowing their spending money for merch

What People Say

Diners on TripAdvisor and OpenTable rave about the bold flavors, especially the Korean fried chicken and house-made kimchi. The cocktail menu gets frequent praise for being both inventive and well-balanced. Many mention the intimate yet trendy atmosphere and how the staff makes you feel welcome without rushing you. The small plate format is a hit for those looking to sample a bit of everything.

Areas for Improvement

Some guests note that the portion sizes can be on the smaller side, especially for the price, so big appetites might want to order a few extra dishes. Also, while walk-ins are welcome, the space fills up fast on concert nights—so reservations are recommended.

The Bottom Line

Onda is the perfect pre-show stop for Korean flavors, fast service, and a stylish atmosphere just minutes from your favorite Nashville venues.
