Located inside the lively Ontario Mills shopping center, Market Broiler – Ontario Mills offers a laid-back yet polished atmosphere perfect for pre-show dining. Known for its fresh fish, flavorful seafood dishes, and generous portions, this California-style seafood eatery features an open kitchen, sleek bar area, and a spacious dining room with a casual, coastal vibe. Whether you're coming straight from shopping or gearing up for a big show, it’s a convenient stop with something for everyone.
Market Broiler is just a short drive from several major Inland Empire concert venues, making it a popular pre-show stop. The service is speedy and friendly—great when you're watching the clock—and the menu includes a variety of shareable plates, hearty entrees, and lighter options for those who want to keep it simple before the event. The casual dress code and relaxed noise level make it easy to unwind without feeling rushed or overdressed.
Guests rave about the freshness of the seafood, especially the grilled fish and signature sourdough bread. The service is consistently praised as attentive and fast—ideal for those with somewhere to be. Many also enjoy the large menu variety that includes everything from fish tacos to steak, making it a crowd-pleaser for mixed groups. The atmosphere is described as "comfortable and upscale without being stuffy."
While most experiences are positive, a few diners mention that the restaurant can get busy during peak times, especially on weekends, so reservations are a good idea. Some also wish for a slightly trendier drink menu—but the classic cocktails and wine list still hit the mark for many.
Market Broiler makes it easy to enjoy a fresh, flavorful meal in a relaxed setting just minutes from the music.

For starters, the waitressed tried to seat us at the back of an empty restaurant. My husband and I told her we’re not sitting there. Then she tried to seat us near the kitchen. We chose a table in the front by the wall of windows. The shrimp appetizer was soggy. The small fish nuggets looked like frozen from a box. The fries were warm and overly salted. The 1/2 pound burger was a thick, dry mound of beef. The coleslaw was chewy. Never will I go there again. I’m regretting not asking for a very well-deserved refund.
Liked: Nothing.
Disliked: The food was horrible. The small fish tasted like frozen nuggets. The fries were warm and overly salted. The hamburger was a 1/2 pound mound of dense, unseasoned beef. The coleslaw was chewy. The teen waitress tried to seat us in the back of the empty restaurant. Ate there 5 years ago, it was nice.
