The Spotlight on Il Pesce - Eataly NYC Flatiron

Fresh Seafood and Italian Flair Just Steps from NYC’s Music Scene

Located inside the bustling Eataly NYC Flatiron marketplace, Il Pesce offers a laid-back yet elevated seafood dining experience right in the heart of Manhattan. With its focus on fresh, sustainably sourced seafood prepared the Italian way, this restaurant brings a taste of the Mediterranean to New York City. The atmosphere is casual but stylish, making it a great stop whether you're dressed up for the show or keeping it low-key.

Why Concert-goers love it

Il Pesce is a smart pick for concert-goers thanks to its central location and fast, efficient service. Just a short walk from popular venues in Midtown and Chelsea, it's easy to fit in a flavorful meal without rushing. The open-kitchen layout and vibrant energy of the Eataly marketplace make it a fun, energetic spot for pre-show dining. Bonus: their menu is seafood-focused and light, so you won’t feel weighed down before the music starts.

What People Say

Reviewers love the freshness of the seafood, with standouts like the branzino and seafood pasta frequently mentioned. Many praise the friendly staff and quick service, making it easy to get in and out before a show. Diners also appreciate the unique setting of being in Eataly, describing it as a “fun, foodie vibe.” The wine list gets good marks too, with Italian white wines that pair perfectly with the menu.

Areas for Improvement

Because it's in such a popular location, it can get busy and a bit noisy, especially on weekends. Seating is somewhat limited, so reservations are recommended if you're on a tight schedule. Some guests mention that the marketplace setting can feel a little hectic if you're looking for a super quiet or intimate meal.

The Bottom Line

If you're craving fresh, flavorful seafood in a vibrant setting close to NYC concert venues, Il Pesce at Eataly is a deliciously smart pre-show stop.

l Inedible pasta vongole! Too too salty. Almost no clam meat. Pasta hard and almost unchewable. Wait staff poor, rude, inattentive. Bad value. Go elsewhere!
