Hawthorne is an American restaurant and tavern located steps from the intersection of 14th and U Street. Hawthorne features four floors with five bar areas and two dining rooms perfect for casual drinks and bar bites. We have one of the best bottomless brunch deals in town. Our brunch special is $37.99 and includes 2 hours of Mimosas, Bloody Mary's, Orange Crushes, Bud Light, one choice of a entree and a Fireball shot. Hawthorne is famous for having one of the best rooftops in DC. The rooftop is retractable, can be utilized in all weather and has an incredible view of the city and monuments. Zagat named it one of the top 10 hottest rooftop bars in May 2016 and is one of the DC Modern Luxury list of Top 2016 summer rooftops. We do not take seated brunch or dinner reservations on our rooftop. Reservations are seated on our 1st or 2nd floors.
