About Globe Hall BBQ & Kitchen
The Spotlight on Globe Hall BBQ & Kitchen

Smoked Meats & Live Beats in the Heart of Denver

Globe Hall BBQ & Kitchen blends finger-licking barbecue with a rustic, music-loving atmosphere just a short ride from many of Denver’s top concert venues. Housed in a restored 1903 dive bar in the RiNo Art District, this laid-back joint serves up Texas-style smoked meats, cold drinks, and good vibes. Whether you're pre-gaming for a show or sticking around after, this spot hits the right notes with locals and visitors alike.

Why Concert-goers love it

Globe Hall is practically made for music lovers — it’s not just a BBQ restaurant, but also a live music venue, so the energy is always high. Its proximity to downtown and major venues makes it a great place to fuel up before a show. You’ll find quick counter service, a casual atmosphere that doesn’t mind your concert tee, and enough space for groups without losing that cozy, dive-bar charm. Bonus: if you’re heading to a smaller show, you might just end up staying right here.

Who this Restaurant is great for

  • Groups of friends looking to split a platter of brisket and enjoy a round of beers
  • Solo travelers catching a bucket-list artist and craving a casual meal with character
  • Couples turning a concert night into a full-on Denver date
  • Fans wanting a lively, music-filled pre-show space
  • Budget-conscious music fans who want great food without the fuss

What People Say

Reviews rave about the “incredible smoked meats” — especially the brisket and pulled pork — and the “cool, no-frills vibe” that feels authentically Denver. Many guests love that it’s “off the beaten path but worth the detour,” noting the friendly staff and relaxed pace. Music fans especially appreciate the intimate stage and divey charm that make it feel like a hidden gem.

Areas for Improvement

Some reviewers mention that the space can fill up quickly, especially on nights when there’s a show, so seating might be limited during peak hours. Also, the vibe leans more casual than polished — great for concert energy, but maybe not the best pick for a formal night out.

The Bottom Line

If you’re looking for bold BBQ flavor, a music-friendly vibe, and quick bites before a show, Globe Hall BBQ & Kitchen is a perfect pre-concert pit stop in Denver.

l Went to a concert here and had a blast! It's small but the sound and environment are great! You can also get food here, but we didn't, so I can't say anything about that
