This was our first visit to Vitos. Overall it was a great experience. Warm, friendly, attentive service. No feeling of being rushed which made the 4 star atmosphere a great experience. We started with Whisky and it tasted fabulous. We had the Antipasto salad and I the Caesar salad. Both were delicious. She had the Medaglioni Bordelaise and I had the Wild Mushroom Pappardelle pasta with shrimp. Both entrees were excellent. Fresh baked warm bread was a highlight. We finished sharing a Cassata. It was good but not great, a little dense but quite tasty. We enjoyed a great bottle of Decoy Cabernet which was perfect for our meal. My only minor criticisms would be the bussing table needs improvement. Dirty plates not picked up in a timely enough fashion and flatware replaced. The other is the sauce with my pasta was too thin making it too broth-y. With a little body the sauce would have adhered to the pasta. Great dinner and experience. We will return again. Vitos is one of the handful of better restaurants in Chesterfield and West County.
