Gautreau's has been a locals favorite since 1983. Local seafood as well as fresh fish from the Northern Pacific and the Atlantic have been featured items for decades. Innovative wine list changes frequently and is filled with well chosen wines from small producers. The restaurant is 3 blocks from St. Charles Avenue and only a 15 minute drive from the French Quarter. The building is in a quaint uptown residential neighborhood with street parking available.

Gautreau's chefs have been recognized nationally by the James Beard Foundation, Food and Wine magazine, New York Times, Zagat and others.

'The restaurant's reputation for developing young talent has earned it much national press, and owner Patrick Singley allows his hires wide berth...' - Food Critic Brett Anderson of the Times-Picayune.
