About Dzo
The Spotlight on Dzo

Bold Vietnamese Bites in the Heart of Downtown Toronto

Just a short walk from Toronto’s top concert venues, Dzo is a modern Vietnamese eatery bringing fresh street-food energy to downtown. With exposed brick walls, neon signs, and a buzzing atmosphere, it's a perfect pre-show stop for a flavorful, upbeat dining experience. The menu highlights classic Vietnamese dishes with contemporary flair—think crispy spring rolls, phở, and bún bò huế served fast and full of flavor.

Why Concert-goers love it

Dzo’s downtown location makes it ideal for grabbing a quick bite before a show. Guests love the fast table turnover and efficient service—perfect when you're on the clock. The energetic vibe sets the tone for a night out, and while it gets lively, it’s never too loud to enjoy conversation. The menu is also shareable and casual, great for groups or solo diners looking for a quick but satisfying meal before heading to a performance.

Who this Restaurant is great for

  • Groups of friends sharing small plates and cocktails
  • Solo travelers grabbing a quick bowl of phở before the show
  • Couples enjoying a trendy, low-key dinner
  • Fans looking for an energetic pre-show atmosphere
  • Budget-conscious concert-goers who still want bold, delicious food

What People Say

Diners rave about Dzo’s authentic flavors and creative twists on Vietnamese classics. The beef phở and banh xeo tacos get frequent shoutouts, as do the signature cocktails made with Southeast Asian ingredients. Many reviews praise the quick and attentive service, even during busy dinner hours, and the trendy, Instagram-worthy interior doesn’t hurt either.

Areas for Improvement

Dzo can get busy, especially on weekends and show nights, so expect a short wait if you don’t reserve ahead. Some diners mention that tables are a bit close together, which adds to the buzz but may not suit those looking for a quiet meal. Portion sizes lean on the smaller side, so consider ordering a few dishes to share.

The Bottom Line

If you're heading to a concert in Toronto and want fast, flavorful Vietnamese food in a fun downtown space, Dzo hits the right note.

l Eat here at least once every time we are in Toronto. Tacos are the best. Any of them are good. Have never even ordered a main. Treat the starters like a tapas menu and you will have a great meal for...
