DaMarino NYC is a cozy, romantic Italian restaurant nestled in Midtown Manhattan, just a short walk from Times Square and major Broadway theaters. With its candlelit tables, classic red-and-white décor, and live piano music filling the air, it feels like a slice of Naples in the middle of New York City. The menu shines with authentic Italian fare—think homemade pastas, fresh seafood, and rich sauces—served with warm, old-school hospitality.
Located just minutes from key music and theater venues, DaMarino is ideal for pre-show dining. Guests love the fast, attentive service that ensures you won’t be late for curtain call. The live piano music adds to the festive vibe, making it a great spot to kick off an evening out. And with hearty, satisfying dishes, you’ll head to your concert well-fed and happy.
Guests praise the authentic Italian flavors, especially the lobster ravioli and veal parmigiana. The live piano player adds a charming touch, often taking requests. Many reviewers highlight the warm, friendly service and the feeling of being in a “hidden gem” close to all the action. It's a top pick for a romantic meal or a celebratory night out.
Some diners mention that the restaurant can feel a bit crowded during peak hours, and prices are on the higher side—though many agree it's worth it for the food and location. The live music, while lovely, may be a bit loud for those seeking a quiet dinner.
DaMarino NYC is a charming, music-filled Italian restaurant offering great food and a festive atmosphere just steps from NYC’s biggest shows—perfect for any concert-goer’s night out.

Food was great but we could not enjoy it as well as we should. Because they took so long to seat us we had to rush through the meal to make show start time. They sat us near a narrow aisle where the waitress had trouble taking our orders because she had to get out of the way for other waiters and diners. Was a very noisy atmosphere.
Liked: The food was excellent.
Disliked: We had a reservation at 6. They did not seat us until 6.40. We stood in a narrow walk way that entire time and were jostled by others trying to get to or from seats.

If you need a quick dinner in a good theater location, this restaurant will do.
Liked: We ordered pasta; lasagna and pappardelle. The dish was good. We also had a lovely waitress.
Disliked: It was overwhelmingly loud. Design was very cramped and kitschy.
