What People Say

Reviews consistently praise the authenticity of the Cajun dishes — from gumbo to jambalaya — and the energetic, welcoming vibe. Guests love the live music upstairs and the beautiful views from the porch seating. Many call it a “hidden gem” and appreciate the historic charm of the old house. The friendly staff and fast service are also big hits with pre-concert diners.

Areas for Improvement

Some guests mention that the restaurant can get a little crowded and noisy during peak hours, especially when the jazz band is playing. Parking can also be a bit tight, so arriving early is recommended if you have a show to catch.

l We sat upstairs where the jazz combo was playing. The food and the music were excellent. I had the BBQ shrimp dinner. It was great. The key lime pie was outstanding. I will be back.
