About Broken Eggs
The Spotlight on Broken Eggs

Spanish Tapas with Soul in the Heart of Fitzrovia

Broken Eggs is a vibrant, laid-back Spanish tapas bar nestled on Foley Street in London’s Fitzrovia neighborhood. Just a short stroll from many of the city's major music venues, this cozy spot brings the warmth of a Madrid-style taberna to central London. With its rustic-chic décor, open kitchen, and a menu full of authentic small plates, Broken Eggs delivers bold flavors in an intimate setting ideal for pre-concert dining.

Why Concert-goers love it

This place is a hit with music fans thanks to its central location, making it an easy stop before a show. The small-plate menu means you can enjoy a variety of dishes without committing to a long meal, and the fast, friendly service keeps things moving—great when you're on a schedule. The atmosphere is upbeat but not too loud, so you can still chat with your group or enjoy a solo bite before heading to the venue.

Who this Restaurant is great for

  • Groups of friends looking to share a round of tapas and drinks
  • Solo travelers grabbing a quick but quality pre-gig meal
  • Couples seeking a cozy, candle-lit spot to start their night
  • Fans wanting a lively space to build the excitement before a show
  • Budget-conscious music lovers who appreciate great value without sacrificing taste

What People Say

Reviewers rave about the authentic Spanish flavors and the warm, welcoming staff. Dishes like the broken eggs with chorizo and the tortilla are frequently mentioned as must-tries. Guests love the intimate vibe and describe it as a “hidden gem” that feels like a slice of Spain in London. Many also praise the reasonable prices and quick turnaround.

Areas for Improvement

Some diners note that the space is quite small, so it can feel a bit tight during peak times—especially right before big shows. Reservations are a smart idea if you're in a group. A few guests mentioned that the wine list, while good, is limited in selection.

The Bottom Line

With its central location, fast service, and shareable Spanish dishes, Broken Eggs is a fantastic pre-concert stop for anyone looking to kick off their night with flavor and flair.
