Beneroti Bar and Bistro Finnieston

1. When we arrived, the restaurant had no knowledge of our booking. The woman who was dealing with us treated us as if we were an inconvenience - rolling her eyes at us and telling 'well, I suppose I could sit you here' 2. When we were eventually given a table, we were then told we could only order from the festive set menu. When we questioned this she rolled her eyes at us, told us again that it was the only option and walked away. When she came back to take the drink order, she could obviously see we were looking online to see if we could eat elsewhere nearby (we didn’t have time for a three course menu and didn't want a full festive meal) and said we could have a look at another menu (looking round at other diners, at this point it looked like only one other table were eating the festive menu). The menus were pretty much thrown at us. 3. When we said we wanted to order from the other menu she again rolled her eyes and told us that they might not have everything as it was only meant to be the festive menu. 4. The gentleman who eventually served us our drinks and food was lovely! Chatty, helpful and fun. 5. The food we ordered was delicious - could not fault the meal at all. Overall food was lovely but the female member of staff who was dealing with us would put us all off going back again or recommending the restaurant.
