The Spotlight on Bellamy's

Elegant Pre-Show Dining in the Heart of Mayfair

Bellamy's is a refined, low-key gem tucked away on a quiet street in Mayfair. Just a short walk from some of London’s most iconic concert venues, this Modern European restaurant offers a calm, upscale oasis with old-school charm. Think plush banquettes, polished service, and a menu that feels indulgent without being over-complicated. With its business casual dress code and discreet setting, it’s a favorite among locals and visitors seeking a touch of elegance before a night out.

Why Concert-goers love it

Its central location near Green Park makes Bellamy’s an ideal dinner spot before a concert. Guests often praise the efficient, unobtrusive service—perfect when you're keeping an eye on showtime. The atmosphere remains quiet and composed, even during peak hours, letting you ease into your evening. Plus, the kitchen’s well-timed pace ensures you won’t be late for curtain call.

Who this Restaurant is great for

  • Groups of friends looking for a classy, pre-concert meal
  • Solo travelers who appreciate attentive service and a comfortable setting
  • Couples enjoying a romantic night out with a show
  • Fans looking for a more sophisticated but still welcoming pre-show space
  • Budget-conscious music fans who don’t mind splurging for a special night

What People Say

Reviewers on TripAdvisor and OpenTable rave about Bellamy’s “understated elegance” and “consistently excellent food.” The steak tartare and Dover sole are standout dishes, and many diners note the staff’s warmth and professionalism. It's often described as a “hidden treasure” and “an oasis in bustling Mayfair.”

Areas for Improvement

While most guests love the quiet, some find the ambiance a bit too subdued for a high-energy pre-show vibe. Prices can be on the higher side, so it's not the best fit if you're looking to keep things ultra-casual or on a tight budget.

The Bottom Line

If you're after graceful dining with impeccable timing before a concert, Bellamy’s delivers a polished experience just minutes from the music.

l A great traditional restaurant in the West End. The food is of a high quality and tables placed at a reasonable distance that allows for business conversations without fear of eavesdropping.

l Lovely restaurant, good ambience and attentive staff. Wine was a little overpriced but the food was pricey, as expected, given the venues location. The food itself was excellent, I had the Bellamy’s...

l One of the most unpleasant restaurants I have had. Uninspired, tasteless food. Service impersonal. The whole dinner took 45 minutes. Very disappointed after reading the reviews.
