About Arros QD
The Spotlight on Arros QD

Wood-Fired Flavours in the Heart of Fitzrovia

Arros QD brings the spirit of Valencia to central London with a bold, modern twist. Located on Eastcastle Street in Fitzrovia, this stylish Mediterranean restaurant is the creation of Michelin-starred chef Quique Dacosta. The space is sleek and dramatic, with an open kitchen where the chefs work their magic over wood fires – a perfect match for the restaurant’s signature dish: traditional Spanish paella, elevated with seasonal British ingredients.

Why Concert-goers love it

Just a short walk from Oxford Circus and key West End music venues, Arros QD is ideal for a pre-show bite or post-concert unwind. The restaurant offers a buzzing yet well-paced atmosphere – not too loud, not too quiet – and service is impressively efficient without feeling rushed. The open kitchen adds to the energy, making it a great spot to soak in some excitement before heading to your show.

Who this Restaurant is great for

  • Groups of friends looking to share large paellas and tapas
  • Solo travelers treating themselves to a chef-driven experience
  • Couples seeking an upscale, romantic dinner before a concert
  • Fans wanting a lively pre-show space with great drinks and stylish vibes
  • Budget-conscious music lovers open to splurging on flavour-packed sharing plates

What People Say

Reviewers rave about the authentic paella cooked over flame, the beautifully designed interior, and the attentive, knowledgeable staff. Many highlight the open kitchen as a source of entertainment in itself, and the creative cocktails earn high praise. Guests also appreciate the menu’s flexibility – whether you’re after a full feast or a few light bites, there’s something to suit your evening plans.

Areas for Improvement

Some diners note that prices can be on the higher side, particularly for drinks and à la carte items. The sleek interior and open flame cooking can make the space feel a little warm during peak hours, so dress accordingly. And while service is generally fast, it can occasionally slow down during very busy pre-show windows.

The Bottom Line

With bold flavours, a buzzing atmosphere, and a prime location near London’s top venues, Arros QD is a brilliant pick for concert-goers wanting a memorable Mediterranean meal before the music starts.
