The Spotlight on Alice

Chic Asian Fusion Just Minutes from the Music

Alice is a sleek, modern Pan-Asian restaurant tucked into the lively East Dallas dining scene. Located on North Hall Street in the Uptown area, it’s just a short ride from some of the city's top concert venues. With its moody lighting, luxe interiors, and buzzy vibe, Alice feels like a night out even before the show begins.

Combining bold Asian flavors with a stylish lounge atmosphere, the restaurant is known for its inventive sushi, flavorful small plates, and artful cocktails. It’s a go-to for locals looking for a trendy dinner spot and a perfect pre-show hangout for music lovers visiting the city.

Why Concert-goers love it

Alice hits the sweet spot for concert-goers thanks to its fast, attentive service and vibrant ambiance. The menu is built around shareable dishes, ideal for groups fueling up before a show. Guests love that it’s just minutes from music venues in the Uptown and Downtown Dallas areas, making it easy to grab a bite without watching the clock. The music is upbeat but not overwhelming, so it keeps the energy high without drowning out conversation.

Who this Restaurant is great for

What People Say

Reviews on TripAdvisor and OpenTable highlight the innovative menu, especially the sushi rolls and bao buns. Diners rave about the craft cocktails, the chic interior design, and the energy that makes it feel like a night out even if you’re just grabbing dinner. Many mention the excellent service and the staff's knowledge about the menu and drink pairings. It’s a hit for birthday dinners, bachelorette pre-games, or just a fun night on the town.

Areas for Improvement

While the vibe is definitely a draw, some diners note that it can get a bit loud during peak hours—so it might not be ideal if you're looking for a quiet meal. A few reviews mention that parking can be tricky in the area, so consider a ride-share if you're heading there before a show.

The Bottom Line

If you're heading to a concert and want somewhere stylish, energetic, and delicious to kick off the night, Alice delivers the perfect pre-show experience.

l The food is overrated and overpriced. Not good at all. The manager treats his staff like crap. It was super crowded and nobody was wearing a mosk.

l Sugar laden sauces straight out of a package. This place had a rude host and wait staff that could not be bothered. Food was BASIC and covered in sugary sauces. Skip it!
