Good

Liked: I had a one bedroom suite with a kitchenette. The living room and bedroom were spacious and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable. The location was good, the shuttle stop to get up into the canyon we're pretty close.
Disliked: The kitchen was roomy and had a full size refrigerator, which was very good. There was no stove top. There was a plug-in two burner hot plate that did boil water but it took me a while to figure out how to actually cook with it. I was asked to wash my own dishes, which is normal and perfectly fine, but I had no dish sponge or anything to actually wash dishes with. I asked for something but they had nothing so I used a bathroom towel. And, there wasn't always hot water in the kitchen. (There WAS always hot water in the bathroom.). I was on the first floor and the room was not very soundproof from the room above me. I could hear every footstep. Fortunately, people didn't stay up too late so it really didn't interfere with my sleep.I can't really compare it to other lodges in the area but I thought the kitchen facilities were a little lacking. It was very comfortable otherwise! I assume that I chose this lodge in part because of the cost, so if it saved me some money it was worth it for me.

A great hotel in a...

Liked: The hotel was great and the lady at the front desk was super helpful. Views were amazing. The town has a shuttle, which was wonderful. The photo is the view behind the hotel.

Liked: Very convenient to shuttle bus, restaurants and grocery store. Quiet. Breakfast bag ok.
Disliked: Small room. Only one chair to sit on.

Very adequate and comfortable accommodation...

Liked: The lodge is very conveniently located on the Main Street in Springdale, making it great for accessing the shuttles through town to the visitor centre. Staff are very helpful and the accommodation is comfortable and clean.
Disliked: My only issue would be the price, but they are all expensive along the Main Street.

The stay at this facility...

Liked: Proximity to Zion.
Disliked: The room door would not securely lock and we were moved to the second floor. That was extremely difficult with a handicap person. We asked the front desk the next morning to check out and they would not accommodate any adjustment until the manager would show up, which would be at 10:30. If we waited, we would miss being at Zion Park for the only day there. When we returned, the manager said ….”had we been there at eight she could have accommodated us, but couldn’t at this point”. If she was sincere, she would have found a way. There is no way we could have been there at eight. If we wanted to visit the park. Also, the shuttle was running and no phone service once in the park and difficult to communicate, which I’m sure they know. Easily an accommodation could be made. Also, the kitchen was shut down and a grab and go bag was given. It was an awful experience. The lobby is lockdown till six in the morning and no coffee or accommodation made for someone from the East Coast that gets up early and needs, a time away from the room while other sleep if they arrive early, therefore no lobby to go to which is very common and other facilities. Hampton Inn down the road had rooms available free breakfast and lesser priced and would have checked out and gone to the Hampton, but the Canyon Lodgewould not accommodate.
