Liked: The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was big and nice, we especially loved the view from the balcony, and the fireplace. The kids also loved the pool.
Disliked: The only thing I can say about this resort that was disappointing is the hot tub was so small and so crowded with bodies I didn't ever get to use it.

Liked: The property has so much untapped potential. It could be the best thing this side of Zermatt, Switzerland. The pool and hot tubs have so much potential. They are a little run down, but the layout is amazing. The staff was very nice when I asked for a different room. They did put us in the lowest level, even though there were a ton of rooms available. The pool was nice, though the ceiling is peeling, and the mirrors in the bathroom are in need of replacement. I would love to see this place be the high end destination that it could easily attain. The danishes in the bakery were very good. The housekeeping staff got a ton of towels washed overnight! Quite impressive!!!
Disliked: The parking lot is more potholes than asphalt. There is no security procedures in the building that we were originally booked in and were under construction . The facilities are getting rundown and need some upkeep and updating. The trim moulding needs to be fastened and secured. The shower has very low water pressure. It doesn't fully transition from the tub to the shower. The hot water suddenly goes to cold and then gets hot again several times during a shower. The display windows throughout the property need to.be updated, cleaned, and refreshed. The staff needs training on customer service. The Z's restaurant does not offer much variety and the restaurant in the hotel is now just a bar and will not seat families. This place has sooooo much potential. Very disappointed, although we made the best of the situation and had a good time.
