The perfect place to stay...

Liked: We lived absolutely everything right from the friendly greeting on arrival when we were seriously jet lagged and losing the plot... The rooms are spotlessly clean, the double beds are massive and the wet room well equipped including with fab toiletries. The breakfast menu is outstanding - amazing presentation and fabulous choice. The Lord Lygon bar and restaurant is next door and is defo a place highly recommended by us as a place to eat. The wine menu is vast and top notch plus the food delicious and competitively priced.
Disliked: There is nothing not to like about this place.

Noisy at night, bring ear...

Liked: It was not what I was expecting from the photos on Booking.comNice rooms, the kettle didn’t fit under the tap at all to fill it with water. The rooms are noise and at night you hear every idiotic hoon racing around the city streets in loud cars. Plus listening to people yelling outside and shouting. I was booked for two nights and then one more night a few days later on our way home. On the first evening we cancelled our booking for the one night later in the week. Stayed at a 5⭐️ that was actually 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ we bought ear plus to get through the second night. Car parking was good and easy to get in and out of, staff were friendly and it was clean.
Disliked: It’s a very old building that was an icon back in the day 60’s to 80’s , it is old and still needs a further renovation on the interior facade around the car parking area.
