Yve Hotel Miami

We had to take the stairs up and down many flights during our stay. The elevator was way too small and very slow. Lobby too congested and loud due to being so small.

Liked: Location.

The nicest person in the hotel was the man vacuuming the floors on our floor. He rushed to fill up my ice bucket.

Liked: The hot water; bottled water and the guy vacuuming the hallways on our floor.
Disliked: The breakfast; tiny bathrooms; doors in the rooms wouldn't stay open.

Pleasant, would have been GREAT...

Liked: Staff was friendly, upgraded us when we arrived. Our room was on the 4th floor and it was quiet, clean. Everything was a delight. Close to stores CVS and Ross, food and night life. Didn't hear that loud cars outside once you were in your room ( bonus). Short drive to the Miami Port
Disliked: Only 1 elevator was working, so very long waits, and that lead to over crowned elevators. Took the stairs a few times, just save on the headache of waiting. Extremely long wait( almost 30 mins) for the elevator when we need to check out due to cleaning taken over the elevator.

Liked: Great location at Miami Downtown, direct bus to Miami Beach. Nice rooms, helpful stuff
Disliked: Elevator was a disaster. Only one was working , very slow, so you could wait for it 10-15 min. Really not convenient if you have a luggage or a top floor

Disliked: One slow and small elevator. Too long wait. Parking for guest too expensive per day. Why $20 per day for using facilities as guest. Not cool.

Never going back to YVE...

Liked: Location is ideal, right in front of the Bayside market. And nearest to some of the important attractions of Miami Downtown.
Disliked: The elevators were so small that a family of 4 has to do multiple trips to just move luggage around, there were only two lifts/elevators for 17 storeyed building and one was in maintenance for more than 2 days. So had to plan more than 30 mins ahead of your exit from the building and wait 30 mins to back in after multiple calls to the front desk. The welcome drinks were never changed for 3 days in a row, there were no coffee machines, the ceiling in our room was under renovation and all the lights never worked. Broken tiles in the shower, and the AC doesn't work properly. Do not fall for their upgrades to a higher level room if you get the mail, I am happy that I did not choose the options as they anyways gave at 15th level, with elevators not working we had to delay our programs. For the price I paid, I wish there were better services.
