Save Yourself the Hassle –...

Liked: Location was good you were able to walk around city very easily. - Lidls 2 minutes around the corner. Restaurants and bars nearby also
Disliked: I booked this property through Booking.com as it was advertised as a summer hotel, but in reality it is student accommodation. The listing was misleading and the standards did not reflect what you would expect from a hotel. The staff were not friendly or accommodating. Our flight landed at 7am. Having walked around the city most of the morning —despite asking earlier in the day, were told we couldn’t check in until after 3pm. When we returned at 3pm, we were then told the room still wasn’t ready and were given a different one anyway— which looked like it had never been cleaned in the first place.During the stay, no one came to clean the room or replace towels. The room itself was very small, essentially just a bed with little space to move around. Noise was also a problem as there is no soundproofing from the dorms next door.If you only need a base to sleep while spending most of your time out, it may be manageable, but it is absolutely not up to hotel standards and was a very disappointing experience.

Overall we wouldn’t stay here...

Liked: Day staff was a lot nicer than the receptionist at night!
Disliked: We arrived after a long travel day. We told them before that we would arrive a bit later, but at our arrival no one was at reception. There were only some boys chilling, blasting music and there was fast food on the receptions desk. When the receptionist finally arrived she seemed like she was on something. She was not really talking to us, was unable to find our reservation, then one of the boys had to help her. She was very very rude and we didn’t feel welcomed. She showed us to our room, the whole time she did not say a word and was on her phone. The room wasn’t really clean and we had mold in our shower. Rooms are very small, just as the beds (we knew that before, just so you keep that in mind). The walls are very thin and every time someone closed their door we heard that. Also even late at night people were still quite loud. The temperature was weird and we couldn’t regulate it. Therefore we wanted to open the window but there were some people outside smoking weed so that wasn’t pleasant at all.

Passable

Liked: Safe and secure
Disliked: Very stuffy and bed was very uncomfortable feel every spring in mattress and a kettle in room would have been nice instead of a communal kitchen and from minute opened shower door there was a horrible smell of mildew or drains.

Good quality student accommodation, but...

Liked: Location was excellent, and good price relative to other available properties the night we stayed. Quiet neighbourhood, despite student area - albeit not during term time. Clean and freshly decorated for the new term.
Disliked: The mattress was very poor quality (serviceable, but not what you would call comfortable), the sink was blocked, and there was no shower mat. Room was quite small for two people, pictures on listing are obviously from a larger room/different apartment block.
