Great location, rooms clean and...

Liked: Hotel was clean and rooms were spacious. Good location for exploring sights. Within walking distance of many tourist hotspots and the train station. The beds have an electronic mechanism which allows you to put the back rest up which was great and very unexpected.
Disliked: We arrived and were told we owed the nightly tax fees, we explained that we had already paid them within the price. The lady on reception was adamant that it was not possible to pay these in advance and wanted us to pay them again. Thankfully had kept all correspondence and was able to show we had already paid.

Liked: Great location, wonderful pool, staff were attentive- good skin and barricade products also, and the shower was phenomenal!
Disliked: They missed cleaning our room on one day, then forgot the towels the next day- this was recompensed at the end, however. Also would be great to have coffee making facilities later than 10am! And to have a diffuser attachment for the hairbrushes.

Liked: Great location near the Capitol and the National Mall. Great rooftop pool and bar area.
Disliked: Some personnel was not very friendly. The light sensor in the bathroom kept turning of the light while you were in the shower or using the toilet.

Disliked: the elevators did not work properly e.g. arriving at floor, the doors would not completely open

Great hotel and very clean

Liked: The check in was easy and all the staff were friendly. It was a short walk to the union station and another bus stop. There are a few coffee shops and cafes close by as well. The room was clean and we had an overall great stay
Disliked: The bed wasn’t the comfiest, but a lot of hotel mattresses aren’t so it’s not a big deal!
