Yosemite View Lodge

Would not recommend this property.

Disliked: This property is very old! There was no weather stripping under the door to prevent insects from entering the room. This property is in a great location just outside Yosemite NP but it is in desperate need of repairs and updates.

The kitchen made it convenient...

Liked: So close to the Yosemite valley but not in the park prices
Disliked: The showers were outdated and little water pressure.

Dated room in a great...

Liked: The location is as good as it gets outside Yosemite park. It's close to the valley and major junctions in the park.Laundry room. 1.75$ per load (washing machine or dryer) which is very cheap.Pools - we tried only one of the pools and it was very refreshing.The staff at the front desk and the store were all kind and helpful.
Disliked: The room looks as if it was renovated about 35 years ago and hasn't been touched since then.Porch furniture was dirty.Wifi reception in the room was poor and a few times just didn't work.Shower head splashed all over.

Great alternative to staying in...

Liked: Close to the park entrance. Great option for those who do not want/can't stay in the park. If you have a chance to get a room with a view of the river, it is a plus. They have a small market on site, and restaurants so very convenient. Beds were comfortable and the rooms were very clean.

Beautiful place and great location

Liked: Location and the complimentary upgrade was unexpected but so considerate. Definitely will be coming back thanks to excellent care for customers.

Magical!

Liked: The location was incredible. I didn’t know we had a balcony until we arrived and the view was so stunning of the river and mountains. The beds were very comfy indeed. The bathroom was big and the bath was huge with jets. The pool was great and the shop was excellent with provisions and souvenirs. The staff were also great.
Disliked: Unfortunately there was a power outage in the area during our stay but the Lodge and booking.com worked together to compensate us for this and we were very grateful.

Superb
