Liked: What's not to like about being right in the middle of Yosemite national Park? Older facility but spotlessly clean, the beds were comfortable. Yes
Disliked: Proximity of course is number one. It was a comfortable room, and although it is dated, it was clean and had everything we needed. It's our responsibility to take care of our national parks. We should be out there making sure that our government make sure that facilities are updated, upgraded, and that there are enough for everyone to enjoy our amazingYosemite national Park.

It’s at an outstanding location,...

Liked: The location was excellent; it was probably the best place in the valley.
Disliked: The rooms were dated and not what we expected based on the photos on the website as well as the rates. We do want to support our national parks, however, especially given the current funding and staffing issues, and Yosemite is truly magnificent. The Yosemite Valley Lodge is one of the only places in the park for visitors to stay, and I imagine that they are trying their best. The biggest problem we had was getting locked out of our room twice, with the lock hardware on the door malfunctioning in different ways each time.
