This delightful Country House Hotel in the historic city of York offers free Wi-Fi and on-site parking for nominal charge.There is a park and ride service just outside the door so you can enjoy both the history of the city and the tranquil setting of a country house. York Pavilion Hotel offers a wide range of individually designed bedrooms ranging from standard rooms to four poster bedrooms. All are en suite and all have a flat-screen TV a large working desk and a fan for hot summer days. York Pavilion Hotel has 2 courtyard gardens a bar serving local specialties bar snacks and afternoon teas are available daily. There are comfortable lounges where you can read the daily papers enjoy a morning coffee and relax beside an open log fire on chilly winter evenings. There are brilliant walks right from the hotel along the river bank and a 30-minute stroll will take you to the beautiful old city. Fulford Golf Club and York University are both just 5 minutes' drive away. Breakfast can be added prior to arrival for GBP 12.50 per person breakfast will be charged at GBP 16.50 if added upon arrival.

Calming

Liked: Beautiful scenery. Stunning rustic cottage vibes.

Liked: We were here for a celebration and my choice of drink was chilling in my room, we arrived by public transport and was reallly easy to find
Disliked: the breakfast service was a little slow, but we understood that they had just changed the menu so it was just teething problems. the breakfast was delicious

Extortionate car park fee!!!

Liked: The location is good just a short taxi ride into York
Disliked: I paid a lot of money for a very small room and then my on my arrival had to pay another £30 for the privilege of putting my car on the car park for 2 nights!! I felt like id been mugged!! Not happy!!
