Worst hotel in 5 years

Liked: Very little.
Disliked: Charging 15gbp for parking is a jokeThe hotel is very tiredI left at 9pm as no air con and the heat was oppressive

Our Stay at the Pavillion...

Liked: Decor was amazing, the location was amazing, beds were comfy.Stayed in room 15.
Disliked: Item was stolen from room by cleaning staff. Asked to change rooms, staff said they would check up on it, however never followed through with this. Room had quite a few damp spots, there were a few cellar spiders in the room. Bathroom was barely cleaned correctly, there were quite a few loose hairs on the floor, which did not belong to us. More annoyed by the fact that cleaners seem to think they can take whatever they want from guests rooms.

Liked: Returned to a hotel we had enjoyed in June 2024Love the gardens and this year's room was even more lovely. We both slept well on the bedWe also love Jorvine down the road so made sure to enjoy a return visit and a bottle or two take homeDiscovered a quiet, very comfortable hidden lounge underneath our room too.
Disliked: Bit disappointing not to be able to have a cooked breakfast on our last morning

Good hotel but needs a...

Liked: **Overall a pleasant stay.**The room was nice, though a little outdated — it could use a refresh, but I understand they may be preserving the hotel’s classic style. The location is convenient, though the on-site EV chargers are quite slow (7kW), so I’d recommend using a faster one nearby if needed. Breakfast was enjoyable, but the area they served food felt a bit cramped, especially with the traffic light system in place during busy times.
Disliked: Rooms need a refresh especially in the bathrooms. I think charging £15 for parking for guests is a money making machine for the hotel. No A/C in the room instead given a broken fan in the cupboard full of dust. Need to give more amenities in the room as given one tiny soap, shampoo and body wash wasn't enough for a 2 day stay.
