Liked: The hostel is clean and well located.
Disliked: I placed a review about the lack of 24 hour reception at this hostel, despite being assured someone would be there to open up. I arrived in the early hours of 26 March. I rang the bell for about 5 minutes. Some other guests let me in. I then stood at the desk and rang another bell for about 10 minutes. Again, nobody came. There was no sign saying reception temporarily unattended.My partner had already checked in so I had the room number, otherwise I wouldn't have been able to get into the room.Very disappointing and frightening to be left out in the street in the middle of the night, especially having been assured there would be someone there to let me in. If the guests had not been there I don't know what would have happened, as I was reliant on WiFi and couldn't make a call. The person on reception that night was negligent. They should have put up a sign at the very least. They obviously went away somewhere.Unacceptable!Also, the hostel would not give me a receipt for paying cash for breakfast. Instead, they put it on the room, but refused to give proof of payment. They were unpleasant about it, implying that I was somehow being difficult for asking for a receipt. I explained it's actually illegal to take money from someone and refuse to give a receipt. Then they suggested I pay by credit card, which would mean incurring an international fee.Also, the room was booked in my name with my credit card, but they wouldn't let my partner into the room unless he paid the full amount up front first (he arrived earlier than me)So I just hope we haven't been double charged for things.The premises and location are fine but arriving in the middle of the night with nobody to open up (in spite of assurances there would be someone there) was stressful, as was dealing with reception staff over simple matters. The person I dealt with was rude and accusing.

Liked: This experience was very bad, the staff (Asian boy) was rude, abusive, he hit the table because I delayed checking out, and this had never happened to me before in any country, which I have travelled a lot for work .. the guys were bothering all the time outside the rooms until 3 am, there was no service they should definitely improve ..gracais igual .
Disliked: Staff ( Asian guy ) , uncomfortable, dirty floors ..

Liked: Room, was clean and what you would've expected for price.
Disliked: Reception staff at check in and check out were extremely bad. Customer service training is advised. Came across rude. Also you might want to state when booking that a further $70 is required when checking in for bond as I purchased this room for a relative going through hardship who I dropped at the door. This relative didn't have a wallet on them, hence, I paid for the booking online before hand. Nothing was stated about a bond, however, I received a call from said relative after dropping him stating that he wouldn't be allowed in to room without paying. Keep in mind there is no mini bar or items that could be taken from room.
